Physiotherapy, or Physical Therapy, is healthcare that provides improved quality of life through pain relief and movement. Physiotherapy at Pursuit looks different than a traditional physical therapy clinic. You will always receive one-on-one care, you will always see the same provider. Thorough and efficient evaluations lead to thorough and efficient treatments.

The main techniques she customizes her treatments with are:
- Dry Needling: the use of non-medicated needles and electrical stimulation to improve tissue mobility and reduce pain
- Spinal Manipulation and Mobilization: Techniques to improve joint mobility and reduce pain.
- Manual Therapy: Hands on techniques like cupping and soft tissue work, including joint mobilization of the upper and lower extremities.
- Exercise Prescription: Movement tailored specifically for your mobility, strength, and flexibility needs in order to return to sport or activity.

Once your evaluation has been completed, Dr. Lineberger will discuss a treatment plan and timeline with you and help set up a schedule for attacking your symptoms to get you back to the life you desire.

Gait Analysis

Comprehensive analysis of gait mechanics and an exam of the musculoskeletal system. The exam will include assessments of range of motion, strength, and functional movements, as well as strategies to help improve your running performance and decrease incidence of injury.

This session is designed differently. RAPID Neurofascial Reset (RAPID-NFR) is known for fast relief & results from issues like pain (chronic or acute), instability, trauma, core dysfunction, imbalance, chronic stress or fatigue, and performance limitations. RAPID-NFR uses precise, efficient and effective hands-on soft tissue manual therapy techniques that work fast—without overworking your nervous system.

This specialized treatment directly targets the nervous system with the goal of helping the brain and body reconnect, recognize safety again, and let go of any protective “hold patterns”, resulting in a quick release of tension and restrictions in muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves, encouraging a body that feels good and moves well. It's also great for encouraging healing and helping with pain from injury, from concussions and whiplash to sprains, strains, tears, and even breaks. *Note: only the soft tissue around (never directly on) the point of injury will be treated until healed or approved by a doctor.*

These techniques are highly-stimulating and sometimes intense, and yes -- that's why it works! Too much neurological input, though, can put your nervous system into fatigue (not a fun time- basically you'll feel super 'ugh' and it can actually hinder your results). So, to be most effective and prevent overstimulating your system, these sessions are intentionally shorter than other types of treatment, in order to support the best results possible without overdoing it. Most appointments only take around 15 to 30 minutes, some more, some less, depending on what you need and your response to treatment.

Book this when the goal of your manual therapy is to work towards resolving an issue, or for a quick and efficient maintenance session. Also pairs well in between your physical therapy follow ups.

Great for performance & prevention maintenance, soreness relief, general stress relief, workout/sports muscle recovery, injury prevention, etc. Other treatments will be more effective for active pain/injury; many patients can benefit from this session in between your physical/ manual therapy treatments. Every session is fully customized and may include a mix of advanced sports massage, myofascial release, PNF, cupping, vibration, heat therapy, IASTM (muscle scraping/ gua sha), etc.

*Because RAPID NFR and Massage/Bodywork have opposite effects to the nervous system, no RAPID is performed in this session*
